The Ruins of Jain Basti / Basadi (Temple), located near the famed Shree Nagesh Maharudra Devasthan and Kadamba Soundekar Raja’s Palace in Bandora Village of Ponda Taluka in Goa, is under the protection of the Goa State Department of Archives and Archaeology since 1993. It was originally constructed around 1100 CE, reconstructed between 1432 and 1453 CE, as per inscriptions found at site and the reconstruction shows a few vignettes of both Kadamba and Vijayanagara styles. Presently the building is not used for any social or religious purposes and has been stabilized in 2017.
