Gurugram- Solid Waste Management

Gurugram is a millennium city with a population that majorly comprises migrants who reside here for better job opportunities. The city has grown immensely in the past few years and with an increase in the growth rate, the sustainable management of resources to maintain the city becomes equally important.  Solid waste management faces major challenges in the city, as the landfill sites are overburdened with waste, it leads to major pollution and health crisis. The scope of the study is limited to ward number 32 wherein we propose to improve the system of solid waste management.
