Lucknow - Public Health

An elaborate study for the city of Lucknow was conducted with reference to Public Health. The scope of the research was limited to Community Health Centres (CHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in Zone 4. There are various healthcare schemes conducted in CHCs and PHCs by National Health Mission (NHM) and the Government. One such scheme, Ayushman Bharat Scheme Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) scheme was studied in detail. The issues identified in the scheme were lack in IEC, late processing and poor claims management. The proposals included IEC, uniform for Arogya Mitras and better administration.
