Reason for Mumbai's housing crisis, including strong population in-migration and growth. Former urban development policies favored capital-intensive industries and the rapid growth of a low-wage informal sector. Hence the major problem in Mumbai is the growth of squatter settlements, However, there are many schemes and policies trying to solve it but there are few challenges in the implementation process, that require managerial solutions for the best outcome and increase the number of beneficiaries applying for these schemes. This study has covered a few of such challenges along with the possible solutions.
