Located at a small agrarian town like Sangli, the site being a part of the bank of Krishna River, holds immense cultural importance by serving as a congregational space for religious, cultural as well as social activities and happens to be a breathing space for many. The potters' community, farmers' community and the Brahmin community residing in Old city, having their bonds connected with the river since the origin of the city, are part of the user group. The project aims to nurture these relations and enhance the quality of with a naturalistic approach, while reviving native culture of city.
