Commercial Building

In this studio, we have undertaken a live commercial project to understand the various dynamics of construction, execution, monitoring, and control in this studio, which centered on the execution process of a project's life cycle. The study entailed collecting data, analysing it, and recommending improvements where necessary in terms of site layout, safety, quality, cost management, contract management, and material management. We were also encouraged to adopt Lean Concepts such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-in-Time, 5S to streamline the process flow and minimize the wastes in the project.
