Commercial Building

As a part of the studio, we took up a live commercial project to understand the various aspects of construction, execution, monitoring, and control. The study involved collecting data from the site, analyzing it, and suggesting improvements wherever possible. Some of the exercises done for the studio are 3d visualization of site layout in BIM software, safety, quality, analysis of contract conditions, Pour planning, Material management. We were also encouraged to adopt Lean Concepts such as Foreman Delay analysis.
