PENUMBRA (DEPLOYABLE SHADING STRUCTURE)

The idea was to develop a sun shading structure that inhibit the solar radiation and can be used externally or in between the internal and the external building space. Sun Shading Devices improve internal environment in order to provide greater comfort for occupants. Also, to use the same solar radiation to create energy that can be used to lit up the wall lamps at night, making the whole structure self sustaining and solar powered.
