AIKYA- a place to unite

This studio intends to explore the potential of Deployable systems used in many places like space-saving furniture/products/architectural elements to achieve forms that are difficult to obtain using conventional methods. Here we were supposed to select a site that lacked space for conventional construction and needed a deployable structure.  Here is the project Aikya which is supposed to be a free-standing shading element attached and detached according to users' demand.
