The studio intended to explore the potential of deployable systems of scissor and origami mechanisms to design user-defined multi-functional furniture/ interior element which enhances the existing activities and user experience within a given context.Shurifa is a balcony panel which can be used in place of a window because it serves the purpose of a balcony and a window as well. This whole system works on the principle of hydraulics and pulley which is motor operated. This panel can be used anywhere be it residential or commercial.
