A once thriving water body, it's survival is in question now. Doesn't receive the intended amount of water to fill the lake due to water channels encroachment and urban pressures. Lack of prominent green spaces and an ever depleting forest cover gave rise to the idea of Adaptive re-use, wherein lake re-gradation & water channelization would help in foresting the vacant patch that would not just enhance biodiversity but also the city image.
