'Udaan' - A step towards one's abilities

A multifunctional space designated for the future of the chawl, the youngsters. A space that helps them acquire skills that would help in securing their bright future and economically benefit the community. Located at the center of the chawk, opposite Chandaben’s Anganwadi, the building aims in blending with the existing without hampering the activities taking place over there. A place where the youth gather and through guidance, study, and get trained to face the outer world. Playfulness is explored in terms of different kinds of spaces and rooms, with different levels of enclosure in the intervention.
