The knowledge of our roots and existence is all hidden deep inside us. But as we grow and so does our involvement in material complexities and shallow pleasures, the seeking of our roots starts dissipating. The result is the entrapment in superficiality which consumes so much of our energy and yet at the end of the day we achieve no inner peace, feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. Yet deep down, there still lies a seeker within all of us, who seeks for peacefulness and that seeking shall be fulfilled only through the inner silence of the being.
Thus, Samarpan - Space to Soul provides a right environment to experience the spiritual journey and to establish a real natural habitat , which will help the seeker to connect with the source and dig deep to understand the purpose of being. This project deals with the understanding of the architectural qualities that influence the human physiological, psychological and spiritual well-being towards establishing inner peace. It tries to portray the presence of the Divine (higher power) through spatial architectural elements like space, geometry, light, shadow, depth, scale etc.
