Compact Kitchenette

The semester started with basic understanding of mechanism and exploration of the same. Studying compact houses and transformable furniture and doing case studies on the same was very intriguing and stimulating.The challenge was to understand the need of transformable furniture and create one such furniture combining multiple functions and which can be used in a compact house of 500sqm. Kitchen in a compact house usually end up having very less dedicated space for it. The possibilities and need of extendable platform area for compact houses become very essential. The entire design of the furniture focuses on this area.
