GIS for Governance -Smart Transportation

 The rapid increase in urbanisation has not only increased the traffic congestion but is also jeopardising  the environment and the human lives.  Hence, it has become an utmost concern for the planners and engineers to come up with sustainable solution. The concept of smart cities is emerging now a days due to which technology and environment can work hand in hand. Here we decided to use our GIS based knowledge and skills  to bring solutions to transportation related problems prevailing in our case study city Gandhinagar.
