Urban Transformation of Shastri Nagar

This Local Area Plan (LAP) is done as a part of urban transformation studio for Master of Urban Design program. Where one has to prepare LAP for the selected area considering the stakeholders that may involve in the process. This project takes a new bottom up approach to LAP. Earlier LAP considered in Planners domain but the scale of a LAP is better suited for the Urban Designers to work on. The proposed interventions are dependent on the area’s morphology, characteristics and feature to which it responded.
