Moist deciduous forests of the central western ghats are home to many endemic species of birds. These forests are habitats to four species of hornbills. Hornbills form an integral part of this ecosystem by acting as cultivator and disperser of the endemic flora of the forest. It is this symbiotic relationship that the study investigates and acknowledge. The journey takes one through the riparian forest that is formed by the great hornbill and reveal the habitat and dependencies that these species preserve and endure.
