Seamless Spiral

'Seamless spiral' is designed to construct an interior experience that brings Da-vinci's revolutionary ideas and dream machines to life. The project questions the co-existence of contrast and emphasis in a space where contrast is generated through variations in form, color, density, and/or intensity of an element.  Materials contrasting in their inherent qualities are used to generate emphasis on the exhibits through visual and spatial contrast. Implications of spatial contrast on wayfinding, space-making, and emphasis have been explored in each role.
