To understand, analyze & propose the optimal redevelopment proposal with planning & technical details for a slum redevelopment site at Nikol, Ahmedabad while taking into consideration the site context, applicable legal norms, existing macro & micro real estate market scenario & stakeholders' requirements & contributions. The whole studio was divided into weekly assessments which involved various phases of a project from site selection to net outflow and business model. The studio helped in better understanding of real estate market and dynamics in the city of Ahmedabad.

Studio brief and Table of Contents
Introduction to Studio and Site selection procedures like Delphi Technique
Macro market analysis in respect to current trends of demand- supply. Introduction to selected site and Rules and policies determining the project proposal.
Stakeholder study and analysis from the sample space of random stakeholders within each strata of the existing slum.
Micro market analysis of real estate trends within 2km radius of site and understanding the built use and amenities within 750m radius.
The various stages involved in the project development and using case study of Asarwa mills slum redevelopment as reference.
Project brief - project mix explained better with multiple iterations and the final phasing.
Proposed conceptual layout and detailed explanation of the phasing involved.
Project cash inflow and outflow along with sensitivity analysis, risk assessment and business model.
Conclusion - Briefing the overall project along with specifying its marketing and construction techniques and Unique selling points.
