The Udaipur city is well known because of water and well-connected lakes, but the canals and lake interlinks of this city are unseen and ignored. There is also an abandoned historical irrigation canal lost in the new development.
All these unseen water infrastructures have their historical importance and have the potential to act as a small pocket of public space in the neighborhood of the growing city. The story “Water of Udaipur” is a detailed conversation between Raju and Nana through a journey that unfolds the importance of water and water infrastructure in the city.
