Towards an Equitable and Livable Ahmedabad

The studio aims to develop a Statutory Development plan through exploration of various approaches of planning zoning with regulations. It was an iterative process hence the outcome was multi-layered. At the beginning as a warm up exercise individual city DP was analyzed and its implementation was understood through transect study. Ahmedabad Development Plan 2041 aims at a sustainable, equitable and a livable city focusing on compact development at core and a planned expansion. The foundation of the development plan is based on a robust and nonnegotiable framework for road and green blue network for a long term future.
