Aikya

The site is located in the old city Ahmedabad, within the pol houses. It is owned by a family of five- Brijesh and Dimple, their two children, and dadi.  The presence of a tree makes this site a special one as greenery is hardly seen in pols.  Home is not just a shelter, it's where life happens. So, keeping site context and family member's unique requirements in mind, the house is to be built catering spaces for their better lifestyle. Also salvaged elements are to be reused in the design.
