The project started with understanding concepts of Adaptive reuse and developing an idea of completeness. The Gaekwad maharaja saloon shed at Vadodara, a historic heritage site, formed the base for creating a Narrow Gauge Railway Museum. The museum looks to celebrates the age-old narrow gauge heritage in India in the city of its origin. The museum walks one through the evolution of narrow gauge locomotives, The Gaekwad state railways contribution, its working, photo gallery, and details about the current preserved systems in the country. The Design focuses on an insert that does not disturb the existing walls or features of the structure and enhances them through design Elements.
