Single Person Dwelling - Rec Homes

Rec Homes, short for Recreational Homes, is an ideal home in Prahladnagar area of Ahmedabad, for corporate world employees living alone. Through the process of questioning privacy and need of spaces, the project creates a balance of isolative and interactive spaces for the dwellers. Additionally, the proposal provides productive recreational spaces for residents to carry on the team spirit post work as well. Processes of photogrammetry and 3D scanning have been used to perform initial object characterization studies.
