The pedagogy for the studio focuses on understanding the relation between Human Behaviour and Furniture based on the parameters of Aesthetics, Aspirations, Emotions, Materials, Ergonomics and Proportions. The preceding exercises of What's in a House, Anthropometry and Iconic Furniture concocts our skills on the basis of the aforementioned parameters to have a more holistic approach to the RE-DESIGN. Using this methodology, Model 161 by Hans Olsen is studied, analyzed and redesigned as "GREAT SEATING - Modular Sofa" based on modern client class.
