The project is set alongside the riverfront, beside the Gandhi Ashram. The process of making begins by understanding mechanics through deciphering toys. An array of working models are then built to further explore limits of these elementary mechanisms. The idea is to integrate understanding developed through toys into architecture to create a meaningful change in terms of space, function or experience.
The kinetic column placed on the transitional steps between the traditional Gandhi ashram and the riverfront seeks to create a volumetric and experiential transition that aids the visitors residing under to enjoy a space for contemplation and dialogue.
