INTERGRATION OF NON MOTORIZED TRANSPORT IN AHMEDABAD

This portfolio presents an overview of the significance of NMT and its position in urban mobility. From the study, it can be concluded that well-planned implementation of NMT infrastructure is needed for the city. Successful implementation and integration of non-motorized transport in the study area and on the newer proposed roads will create a safe and well-balanced transport system. The adequate developments of NMT facilities and infrastructure in the city will help to encourage road safety and create a safer environment for cyclists and pedestrians.
