With majority of our urban buildings in cities like Delhi & Mumbai, approaching an age of 30-35 year, it is important to realize that they are in process of decay. In the coming few years they could be insufficient and incapable to reflect the needs of of the society.
Is demolition of such buildings the only way ahead? Can we prevent such a situation in the future while building anew?
