The MACHAN is comprised of a three-dimensional latticework of untreated timber members that allow free passage of views, ventilation, and circulation whilst resting upon a rigid frame structure that can sustain a functional program. The repetition of the frames generated a rhythmic pathway towards wetlands and grasslands, guided by shadows. The users are a bunch of photographers who will stay & capture the enchanting surroundings in the Blackbuck national park of Velavedar.
Why GRID? It provides flexibility in space making and the growth of volumes in lateral as well as vertical directions.
