ACTIVATING INTERNAL STREETS

This project aims to make women and girls feel secured and relaxed in the familiar surroundings, cozy environment, and comfort of sitting while chatting with familiar faces. 
The main objective of my design is to extend that feeling of comfort within their area with enough shade, sitting, and visual connection to their surroundings. Through my design, I have visualized recreating the space with various interventions like the tube installation and the rooftop park that provides women leisure space close to their home. The design attracts more visitors to the Friday market who happen to visit some of the restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood during the weekend.
