Memnagar is the center of western Ahmedabad which has or is still witnessing rapid growth predominantly in the residential settlement. A major portion of Memnagar is the Memnagar Urban Village which is an in-between space, engulfed in rapid urbanization, which is traversed the most and at the same time neglected, making it a place which is neither here nor there. Thus, Memnagar Urban Village is a LIMINAL SPACE. In this we will read how they live in a constant tension towards the future, taking the chance of living it in a hybrid way.
