The Pavilion, built near the fort wall of Lakhpat, intends to create the abstracted structure of a captured locomotive motion of the Sidewinder. The Snake has a unique moving pattern in the hot deserts wherein it levitates most of its body in the air to minimize the contact with the ground. The structure is erected in a similar strategy by Cantilevering prominent parts and allowing only a few points to touch the landscape. The pipes remain in tension by attaching to the rings; the walkway also rests on the rings. The pavilion is covered with ETFE skin. Complete Portfolio
