With our lives becoming busier each day, we often miss out to experience a space through all of our senses and end up only seeing it. The project ‘Undulating Experiences’ tries to evoke senses other than sight, such as touch, smell and sound. Built along a part of land on riverfront in Ahmedabad, a site with a lot of rigid structures and defined pathways, the project tries to break that. It allows one to loosen their muscles because that is how they can actually experience the spaces through their senses. The free pathways in the vast landscape, the chirping of birds, the touch of grass on ones feet, the sound coming from the movement on different materials all adds up to a multisensorial experience that the project tries to achieve.
