The current state of Poveglia island in Venice is triggering metaphorical associations to machines- industrial age machines- also with a magical, unknown quality. The site when drawn in such a way- gives the architect/ designer the opportunity of expresses possibilities of imagination of the site. That imagination flies and escapes from the reality mess, which in turn gives a purpose of re-engagement to the same reality.
