This study proposes “Community-based Water Resource Management” in the Peripheral Village in Indore Planning Area. These are the villages that lie on the fringes of the city whose major occupation delts with high water yield crops creating high dependency on groundwater and creating scarcity with the climate change. This pilot is proposed with the vision of securing water and biodiversity for the villages which are under the pressure of development and rising water scarcity.
