The Construction Project Execution, Monitoring and Control studio of Master’s in Construction Engineering and Management focuses on the execution phase which is the most important aspect of the construction project life cycle. This phase is performed within the boundaries of time, cost, quality and safety, as defined and expected by the client. For this studio, institutional residence project has been selected. The scope of work for this project is the Staff and Faculty Housing. The Construction processes are examined from the viewpoint of knowledge domains such as  construction quality management, construction safety management, construction planning and control, and lean construction, among others. Site observations (photographs and videos), contract documents, quality assurance and control plan, safety management plan, rate analysis, checklists, and formats used for monitoring and controlling different construction processes were all collected as part of the analysis. The interaction with many stakeholders on the construction site, such as client representatives, project management consultants, contractors, subcontractors, quality managers, safety managers, and so on, enhanced this studio's experience. The collected data were analysed from the perspective of different concepts, tools, techniques and along with the suggestions for improvements to be discussed in the studio setting.
