Construction Project Execution Monitoring and Control studio provided us with the opportunity of understanding different principles and methods which are to be adopted for successful and profitable completion of the construction projects, from the contractor’s perspective. As a part of studio I've undertaken Mixed Development Project. This studio mainly focused on the Execution phase of project life cycle. The studio involved the study of Safety Management, Quality Control, Contracts Administration and Material Management. We were also encouraged to adopt various Lean Tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-in-Time, 5S, and Foreman Delay Survey to streamline the process flow and minimize the wastes in the project. As a part of studio we also used Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and Primavera P6 software to track the progress of project. The topics covered in this portfolio are: General Details of Project , Triple Role Concept, Cost of Quality, Pour Planning- Reinforcement, EOQ Model, Primavera Risk Management and Foreman Delay Survey.
