Deployable structures can expand and contract due to their geometrical arrangement and mechanical joinery. They can adapt to different usages. They can fold, reduce in size and fit into a limited space when not in use and when required; they can be deployed to serve its intended purpose. The studio is an exploration into deployable mechanisms and their integration into the form and function. The idea was to design a deployable roof for CEPT University. The model is inspired from human spine. The axis remains the same while the members come out from it.  The pavilion can be used for exhibition and also acts as shelter during extreme heat and rain.
