The project entails designing, making working drawings and estimating the cost for the same using the guaranteed maximum price method (GMP) for a residence-cum-office space for an architect. The site is located in Bodakdev, Ahmedabad, an urban context with a strong sense of a neighbourhood. The firm, Studio Web, aims at working as an intermediate agent between the client and the ever-evolving contexts of habitat and dwellings. The project uses a hybrid structure, locally sourced materials and even aims to make efficient use of the existing landscape on site.
