Chicque is an adaptive reuse project which is a 150 year old Goan Portuguese bungalow which was the residence for the Rodrigues family. It is located just 600 meters away from the Candolim Beach on the Baga-Aguada road, in North Goa. This is the high street of the area with many informal family dining spaces. The project endeavors to bring in informality within a formal interior space by embedding layers of drapery within the pre-existing built structure thus exemplifying carefreeness within the space. A fine dine experience with private spaces with different spatial and dining experiences; a Cocktail Bar, a fine-dine restaurant and a Dessert Bar serving frozen desserts throughout the day. This multi cuisine restaurant, Chicque, serves four cuisines - North Indian, Iberian, Japanese and Continental, thus catering to a wide range of dining experiences.
