Spaces own an identity of the experience, emotions and functionality that the user Identifies with. A heritage residential space comprises a strong characteristic individuality of each space and function. “Praca de Comida '', which translates to a food square, is an adaptive reuse project that aims to establish a food court as a hospitality F&B service within the 150 year old Goan-Portuguese heritage mansion. A food court service is established around the idea of diversity of choices. The space design here aimed to create diversity in the experience of each space and a holistic journey that continued throughout. A conceptual idea of introducing a modulating element that circulated through spaces enhancing their existing spatial qualities and adding to the function they provide. This modulation was a reflection of the existing forms in the spaces, while respecting the structure. The design language followed throughout utilized interior stylization of materials, colours to emphasise individuality of spaces whilst sustaining the connectivity
