Children's Library at Loving Community

The project aims to redefine how people access Loving Community, making it a place of knowledge and abolishing the gate that stereotypes its people. Through the subtle interplay of light qualities, access points, and privacy hierarchies, the library generates experiences that re-envision how people know the community. The project focuses on the simple balance of mass and void to create spaces of varying degrees of publicness, providing a public performance space in the form of an amphitheatre and a private courtyard for the occupants of the workspace to use during leisure breaks.
