INCLINOVATE- A Material Innovation Centre

Inclinovate is a Material Innovation Centre located in the city of Ahmedabad and it strives to innovate new applications for the use of two materials which are plywood and steel. The Centre is driven by a new work environment and is based upon prototype as a metaphor. Thus, it has qualities of a prototype which include novelty, experimental, miniature and precision. Thus, all the design decisions ranging from the element articulation to the space planning are based on the metaphor 'prototype'. 'Inclinovate' is a blend of two words- 'incline' and 'innovate' and thus the name brings together the office’s purpose and its central design principle.
