ENGINEERING SUSTAINABILITY

In the world of concrete and bricks, many of the civil engineers ignore minor details during the construction such as window orientation, window sizing, window to wall ratio, proper insulation etc. Later the occupants has to suffer from the problems such as high temperature in dwelling, less daylight or direct sunlight. As part of this study, own dwelling was taken. Then the problems of the existing dwelling such a higher solar radiation, lower daylight, direct sunlight etc was optimised by adoption of best orientation, proper window sizes, best window orientation etc in the IES software.
