Nexus

Fractals is a kind of pattern occurring in nature characterized by repetition of a module with the scale increasing or decreasing proportionately. This pattern creates a beautiful illusion of continuity which has been used as the inspiration of this project. Nexus is an experiential structure situated in the Riverfront Park, Shahibaug which tries to encapsulate this feeling. It is a modular structure which can easily be assembled on site trying to give the user an experience of being inside as well as outside this beautiful pattern. Not only does this pattern help give the structure an aesthetic vibe, but also its rigid rules give it an order and logic behind its construction. Hence, the overall aesthetic looks more pleasing to the eye.
