Expedition in Non Metals

The studio was majorly about understanding the materials i.e. Wood, Plastic and Ceramics and design products incorporating the learnings. After the research in wood and understanding the types, characteristics, manufacturing etc. two products were designed one of natural wood and the other from manufactured wood. In plastics, a space was chosen and products were designed accordingly using different manufacturing processes. A few explorations were done with ceramics as well. At the end a space was designed and products from all three materials were designed in order to understand overall function of products together.
