The studio was an exploration of the properties of different non metals, how they behave, how to handle them and how to build with them. The studio was a challenging quest and study of trying to use the materials themselves to communicate the design concepts and purposes, while respecting the true nature of those non metals. The designed space, a bookstore and a bistro named "Books & Bite" incorporates various explorations with different non metals in the form of building products.
