Product design to satisfy the demands of built environments is difficult. The items will have to adapt to changing lifestyles and technological advancements. The studio introduced the design approach for solving problems in various work, home, and other environments using various non-metals. Wood, plastics, ceramics, glass, and bamboo were some of the materials we studied. We researched, assessed, and conceived what makes a product both realistic, feasible, and desirable. This studio also assisted me in becoming familiar with the nature and properties of the numerous non-metals we explored.
