Foundation Design of Over-Head Water Tank

In this studio, we started with understanding the conceptual parts of the studio through mind maps and site visits and collected soil samples which we then tested in laboratory. We also tried to improve soil by using additives, like scrap rubber, and tested them as well in the laboratory by doing a comparative analysis of soil with and without rubber. Then in the end we design foundation system for the given load conditions and soil strata using the IS Codes as reference to maintain the standard and get through the process of designing.
