The government of Gujarat recently launched a new policy named Gujarat solar policy - 2021.Solar rooftops are cost savings and eco-friendly. Rooftop panels supply electricity to buildings, so they need to buy less electricity from the grid thereby saving on energy costs.This project aims to identify suitable buildings for solar rooftop installation for that AHP geospatial technique is used along with the urban canopy vegetation cover. The study finally highlights the buildings which are most suitable for solar rooftop installation in GMC.
